Anyone who has suffered with dry skin, knows that it ruins your days. Also, you know that it gets much worse in the winter time. Since the winters are so cold especially where I live, Canada, it makes the situation worse. Every single year, I try something new and it never really works. This year was the year of skin success and I finally figured out how to cure this problem.

Winter Skincare Tips!

I can not say there was just one product that fixed everything. It was a mixture of products that helped me out – all fairly affordable products. There are four products in my mix that have helped me out and I will swear by from now on. I was extremely insecure of my skin this past year as I had a reaction that was not going away. As I cleared it up with the help of these products, I also realized these products were life changing for dry skin in the Winter. I have had no flaking of foundation this year from dry skin. My concealer stays on under my eyes a lot longer since I do not have dry under eyes like I used to. It is a magnificent feeling to finally fix an issue that has been bothering me.

Let’s Get Down To The Juicy Products!

Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Dew It Right Eye Gel

This is the most expensive product on this list. It is $62 Canadian. If you suffer from dry under eyes, this is a HUGE help! This has also helped me target my dark circles around my eyes and fine lines. I really recommend this product if your eyes are a huge problem area for your skin. This has been a huge game changer in my routine. It took me forever to find the perfect eye care product, but I finally did! All of Dr Dennis Gross’ products are amazing so I really recommend checking out the others if your budget is higher than the average. His products are pricier but they really do work!!

Hydra Oil

Depending where you get this product, the price may differ. However, it is around $10. This has been the biggest game changer in my skin. I lather this all over my face and body before I go to bed. I wake up with smooth as a baby skin. It has been incredible and has not caused any breakouts. On top of helping with hydration, it helps with uneven skin tone, acne scars, stretch marks, etc. There are so many benefits to this oil so I really recommend it! If you have a “chatters” around you, they sell it! Another alternative is “Bio-Oil,” it is the same product except bio-oil is pricier! I really recommend this for anyone who suffers from dry skin both on face and body!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

This is a $24 CAD product, which is not too pricey. However, when you try the product and see how well it works, it will be worth $100 price tag. You put a generous amount over your lips before you sleep and you wake up with soft, plump lips! I even have been putting it on in the morning when I do not plan to wear any lip colour. It has been amazing!! The applicator is super handy and did I mention, cute!! If you have a problem with dry lips in the winter, try this product and be prepared to be amazed. Laneige also has other products such as a sleeping mask for your face, which I heard is AMAZING as well for dry skin in the winter!

Sephora Blue Clay Mask

This has been the craziest product this year that I discovered. First of all, it is $10 and lasts for a few applications so it is totally worth the price! The packaging says 4 uses, but I find that I am getting a lot more out of it. I am finding it a little bit difficult to find the product as I am not finding it online. The other clay masks are available online but I really enjoyed the oxygenating effects of the blue clay mask. I recommend going in the store as they will have it in store. All of the locations I have checked have it! HUGE help! I try to apply it twice a week for maximum effects. Try this and thank me later!!! It has been better than all the expensive masks I have purchased.
